The Student Osteopathic Internal Medicine Association (SOIMA) is the national organization created to connect and grow osteopathic internal medicine chapters across the country. There are 46 accredited colleges of osteopathic medicine (COMs) at 73 locations. There are 59 student osteopathic internal medicine chapters across the 73 COMs and branch campuses. SOIMA provides a forum for osteopathic medical students interested in internal medicine and its subspecialties to gather and work together through one shared community.
