There are 42 accredited colleges of osteopathic medicine (COMs) at 68 locations. There are 56 student osteopathic internal medicine clubs across the 69 COMs and branch campuses. The Student Osteopathic Internal Medicine Association (SOIMA) is the national organization created to connect and grow osteopathic internal medicine clubs across the country. SOIMA provides a forum for osteopathic medical students interested in internal medicine and its subspecialties to gather and work together through one shared community.
