WHY JOIN ACOI

There are many organizations available to today's osteopathic internist. ACOI is the only one, however, whose sole purpose is to foster the continued success and future growth of osteopathic internal medicine.

Members of the ACOI join for many reasons: continuing education, networking, camaraderie. Not surprisingly, many join to give something back to their profession.

Membership in the ACOI is available to all osteopathic internists, internal medicine trainees, and medical students.

ACOI membership categories are as follows:

ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP

An osteopathic physician who has completed either an American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) approved residency training program in internal medicine, who holds a valid license to practice medicine and who shows evidence of active practice in internal medicine. Those involved in internal medicine research, education or administration are also eligible for Active Membership.
