Carol Kirila, DO, MACOI, was honored with the Medical Advisory Board Distinguished Service Award from the National Kidney Foundation (NKF). This award recognizes Dr. Kirila’s outstanding contributions to kidney health education, advocacy and community service, as well as her leadership in advancing the mission of the NKF across the region. Dr. Kirila serves as Chair of the Medical Advisory Board for the NKF of Western Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma and is a member of the NKF Health Equity Committee.
