At the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society (NYSOMS) 2026 Regional Osteopathic Convention – New York, held March 12-13, 2026, in Long Island, New York, Richard Thacker, DO, MACOI, was featured as a keynote speaker. Kenneth Steier, DO, FACOI, and Michael Foti, DO, FACOI, were also featured as speakers in their respective sessions “Improving Medical Student Wellness” and “OMT for the Busy Internist.” Congratulations to Dr. Thacker, Dr. Steier, and Dr. Foti! 

 

Lucia Schroeder DO MPH

Lucia Schroeder, DO, MPH, has been appointed Chief Resident of the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) Internal Medicine Residency Program in Colton, California, for the 2026-27 academic year. Congratulations, Dr. Schroeder! 

 

Dimitri Tito DO FACOI

Dimitri Tito, DO, FACOI, was named in the National Minority Quality Forum’s (NMQF) 2026 Top 40 Under 40 Leaders in Minority Health List. Since 2016, this list has recognized rising professionals who drive innovation, advance patient outcomes, and work to eliminate health disparities in communities across the country. The honorees will be celebrated during the 2026 NMQF Leadership Summit on Health Disparities and Health Braintrust, held April 27-28 in Washington, DC. Congratulations, Dr. Tito!

 

Kardie Tobb, DO, FACOI, was named the 2026 recipient of the RISE Health Care Hero Award. This annual award recognizes an individual who has made a significant impact on the lives of underserved populations through health care and social services interventions, thereby exemplifying RISE’s mission to promote health equity for all patients. It is presented each year at The RISE Healthy Communities Summit. Dr. Tobb was recnogized for her work with Cone Health Medical Group, a provider-led network which delivers specialty and primary medical care to residents of North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad. Congratulations, Dr. Tobb!

 

David Tolentino DO FACOI

David Tolentino, DO, FACOI, has been named dean of the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Tolentino has served as interim dean since July 1, 2025, and will bring nearly a decade of leadership at Campbell to this new role. Since joining Campbell in 2016, Dr. Tolentino has led the growth of its clinical education programs, expanded its affiliate partnerships, and strengthened its regional impact, ultimately preparing physicians to serve rural and underserved communities across North Carolina and beyond. Congratulations, Dr. Tolentino!

 

Joshua Lenchus DO

Joshua Lenchus DO, was featured in the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) magazine The DO, for their DO Connections column. The piece, “Mentorship, the single greatest solution,” is about how connecting with mentors helped him along his path as a first-generation physician. Congratulations, Dr. Lenchus!
