Dear ACOI Members and Friends:

As 2020 draws to a close, I wanted to reach out to each of you and thank you for being part of the ACOI community. This year has been full of changes and challenges, but the new year promises hope – hope of a vaccine, of increased time with family and friends, and that we are able to learn and grow from our experiences this year to be better and stronger.

ACOI has a 79-year history of leadership and education for osteopathic internists and subspecialists. But what makes the organization special is you. Each member, tirelessly dedicating energy, passion, mentorship and leadership, is what makes ACOI special. Since joining the ACOI in June, I have been so overwhelmed by the positivity, warmth and integrity of ACOI members.

I want to thank you all for helping ACOI through this challenging year – by attending our very first online Convention, mentoring students, participating in educational events and joining our peer-to-peer sessions on COVID. There is more to come in 2021, and I know that the future is bright for ACOI.

I wish each of you a healthy and joyous New Year. If you’d like to get more involved with ACOI, please let us know. We look forward to seeing you (hopefully in person!) next year!

Cheers to 2021!

Karen
