Hello SOIMA Members!
As we begin a new academic year, each of us is entering a different chapter of our medical school journey.
Wherever you are in your training, I encourage you to reflect on how far you have come and embrace the new opportunities, connections, and growth this year may bring.
What SOIMA Offers
When I first became involved with SOIMA at my own school, I could not have predicted the connections, experiences, and leadership opportunities that would come from simply choosing to get involved. That is why my biggest piece of advice to you this year is to say YES to new opportunities!
SOIMA offers a community of students navigating similar experiences, while ACOI provides opportunities to connect with the larger osteopathic internal medicine community. I encourage you to take advantage of all that SOIMA and ACOI have to offer by getting involved with your local chapter and participating in national opportunities throughout the year.
I am excited to see all that we accomplish together and look forward to another great year with SOIMA!
