Nominations for 2026-2027 ACOI Leadership Positions Announced

The ACOI Nominating Committee has announced the slate of candidates for election at the Annual Meeting of Members scheduled for October 10 as part of the ACOI 2026 Annual Convention & Scientific Sessions. The Committee has nominated Laura Rosch, DO, FACOI, for President-Elect and Watson Ducatel, DO, MPH, FACOI, for Secretary-Treasurer. Incumbents Joanne K. Baker, DO, FACOI; Pamela S.N. Goldman, DO, FACOI; and Charlene A. LePane, DO, MBA, FACOI were nominated for another three-year term.
Under the College’s Bylaws, this year’s President-Elect, C. Clark Milton, DO, FACOI, will be inaugurated as President for the 2026-2027 year at the conclusion of the elections.
In addition, a new addendum to the Bylaws states that there will be no new nominations to the ACOI Board of Directors until the total member count is 10 members plus one resident.

President: C. Clark Milton, DO, FACOI
C. Clark Milton, DO, FACOI, is board certified in internal medicine and is the Designated Institutional Official at Wheeling Hospital. He also serves as Director of Medical Education for Wheeling Hospital’s Osteopathic Internship and Residency Program. He was the Program Chair for the ACOI 2025 Annual Convention and Scientific Sessions and has served on the CME Committee since 2015. Dr. Milton has been a member of ACOI since 2005 and was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2018.

President-Elect: Laura M. Rosch, DO, FACOI
Laura M. Rosch, DO, FACOI, is board certified in internal medicine and served as the Campus Dean of the RVU College of Osteopathic Medicine in Utah. Dr. Rosch serves on the CME Committee, the Honors and Awards Committee, the Osteopathic Integration Task Force, and the Osteopathic Medical Education Continuum Council. She has served on several other ACOI Committees in the past. Dr. Rosch has been a member of ACOI since 1997 and was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2018.

Secretary-Treasurer: Watson Ducatel, DO, MPH, FACOI
Watson Ducatel, DO, MPH, FACOI, is a Board-certified internal medicine physician. Along with his wife, Martha Ducatel, DMD, he is the co-founder of Healthy Bodies Medical and Dental Center, their joint private practice in Brandon, Florida. Dr. Ducatel is the Program Chair for the ACOI 2026 Annual Convention & Scientific Sessions. He has been a member of ACOI since 2014 and was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2019.

Board Member (additional 3-year term): Joanne K. Baker, DO, FACOI
Joanne Baker, DO, FACOI, FAODME, FHM, FACP is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician and Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at WMU Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine (WMed) and Clinical Professor for the Department of Osteopathic Medical Specialties at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Baker’s current roles include Internal Medicine Residency Program Director and Director of Osteopathic Education at WMU Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. Dr. Baker has been a member of ACOI since 1995 and was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2023.

Board Member (additional 3-year term): Pamela S.N. Goldman, DO, FACOI
Pamela S.N. Goldman, DO, FACOI, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician and a graduate of the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Goldman completed a Master in Health Services Administration with LECOM School of Health Services Administration. She is currently Clinical Assistant Professor at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Adjunct Professor at the LECOM School of Health Services Administration, as well as a Senior Medical Director for a major healthcare company. An active member of the ACOI Practice Management/Professional Development Committee since 2014, Dr. Goldman has been a member of ACOI since 2009 and was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2023.

Board Member (additional 3-year term): Charlene A. LePane, DO, MBA, FACOI
Charlene A. LePane, DO, MBA, FACOI, is dual-board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine, and has devoted over thirty years to patient care. She currently practices as an AHMG gastroenterologist and serves as the Chief Medical Information Officer for the Central Florida Division, where she finds great satisfaction in using technology to enhance provider experiences and patient care. She also holds fellowships with the ACOI, American College of Gastroenterology, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. LePane has been a member of ACOI since 2009 and was first elected to the Board of Directors in 2020.
