Faculty Poster Abstracts and Student and Resident/Fellow Poster Contests
Share your research with the ACOI community through the Poster Contests and Faculty Poster Abstracts. Highlight new discoveries, illuminating case studies, or fascinating knowledge from the past year that serves and inspires others.
We are now accepting submissions for the Student Poster Contest, Resident/Fellow Poster Contest, and the Call for Faculty Poster Abstracts. The submission deadline is July 25, 2025. All poster and research presentations will be held during ACOI 2025, October 8-11, in Marco Island, Florida at the JW Marriott Beach Resort Marco Island.

Call for Faculty Poster Abstracts
Share your work with osteopathic internists from around the country! This is your opportunity to present to your colleagues and peers on a national scale while taking part in a scholarly activity.
Categories for consideration include:
- Model for application of the ACGME Milestones
- Integration of OPP/OMT into training programs
- Prospective clinical studies (completed or in-progress)
- Retrospective analyses (e.g. chart audits, registries)
- Unique case presentations
- Innovative approaches to meet requirements for scholarly activity
- Faculty development
- Trainee/faculty wellness
- Descriptive studies

Student and Resident/Fellow Poster Contests
Osteopathic medical students, residents, and fellows are eligible to submit to their respective 2025 Research Abstract and Case Presentation Poster Competitions. The main categories for submission include:
- Quality Improvement (QI)
- Clinical Research
- Bench Research
- Case Presentation Posters
All case presentation posters must be related to internal medicine and its subspecialties. Relevance or application to osteopathic principles and practice is encouraged.
Student Posters: Cash awards of $250 and $100 will be made to the top two research abstract posters in each category.
Resident/Fellow Posters: Cash awards of $500 and $250 will be made to the top two research abstract posters in each category.
The top two finishers for each category will also present their work at a plenary session of the Annual Convention.
