ACOI 2026: Gather and Grow with Your Community

Greetings, everyone! I hope each of you is doing well and enjoying the warmth of the summer season. We are now just months away from our Annual Convention, and the excitement is building! Our presenters have been confirmed, final details are coming together, and anticipation for this year's event is continuing to grow.
To those of you who have already registered and finalized your travel plans, thank you for your early support and commitment. If you haven't registered yet, I look forward to seeing your name added to our growing list of attendees very soon. Registering early allows ACOI to fine-tune preparations and ensure the best possible experience for everyone.
This year, we'll gather in the beautiful desert oasis of Palm Springs, California, where we'll connect, learn, celebrate, and create lasting memories together. Our traditional Welcome Reception is returning—but this year, we're adding a special twist! It's going to be a party! To make it a success, we need as many of you there as possible for the opening festivities.
Let's just say...you should pack your dancing shoes!
I can already imagine all the incredible dance moves we'll see. Who will have the best moves? Will it be you? Whether you're a seasoned dancer or someone who prefers to cheer from the sidelines, don't worry. No experience is required—just come ready to laugh, participate, and have fun. After all, we're celebrating an extraordinary milestone: 85 years of organized osteopathic internal medicine. For 85 years, our profession has advanced excellence in patient care, strengthened our specialty, and made a meaningful impact on communities around the world. That's something truly worth celebrating together.
Of course, after an evening of dancing, some of us may discover a few new somatic dysfunctions—or perhaps aggravate a few old ones! Fortunately, we've got you covered. Be sure to join us for this year's Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) sessions.
If last year's OMT sessions in Marco Island were any indication, you're in for an exceptional experience. I left those sessions feeling healthier, refreshed, and inspired to incorporate OMT even more intentionally into my own clinical practice. The faculty delivered engaging, hands-on instruction that reminded us just how effective—and practical—these techniques can be in our everyday patient care.
I hope you'll take advantage of these outstanding educational opportunities and experience them for yourself. Until then, register for the convention, finalize your travel plans, and get ready for an unforgettable, enjoyable week as we celebrate, learn, reconnect with friends and colleagues. I can't wait to see each of you in Palm Springs as, together, we connect to the DO within.
