ACOI is headed to the Sunshine State to host this year’s premier conference for osteopathic internists—ACOI 2023. Join us in Tampa, October 11-14, as we unveil all-new topics, introduce new activities, and bring back in-person classics like the Fellows Convocation & Awards Ceremony and the Student and Resident Poster Contests.  Attendees will be able to earn CME credits and MOC points.

ACOI 2023 will offer a wide array of programming, including thought-provoking keynotes, important clinical updates in a variety of subspecialty areas, and the key sessions you need to fulfill your state licensure requirements. Plus, Tampa attendees can take advantage of special Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) sessions and an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) recertification course.

Submissions are now open for ACOI’s Annual Poster Contests and Presentations.
Submit before July 31 to qualify!

Annual Poster Contest
Residents and students can submit abstracts in the categories of original research or case presentations. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top winners in each category, and convention registration is free for residents and students.

Faculty are welcome to share their knowledge with the ACOI community in a number of categories. Poster presentations will qualify for scholarly activity.

POCUS Training

Point-of-care Ultrasound (POCUS) Training - Registration Coming Soon

Available for in-person attendees only, ACOI is thrilled to offer POCUS training again during #ACOI2023. In collaboration with the Point-of-Care Ultrasound Certification Academy and expert Insonate educators we will offer teaching, mentoring, and coaching of learners at various levels. All sessions will be 100% hands-on, practical learning, and live scanning.

New this year!

ACOI is committed to efforts that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion. This year at ACOI 2023, on Thursday, October 12, from 6:00 - 8:00pm, special interest groups will meet up to discuss various topics. To participate in special sessions on physician wellness, women’s health, LGBTQIA+, and early career physicians, sign up when you register.
