General Meeting Questions


Q: When does registration for the virtual meeting end?

A: Registration is now closed.

Q: How long do I have to view the sessions?

A: The sessions will be available on the virtual platform through December 15, 2023.

Q: How do I access the virtual meeting?

A: To access the virtual platform, log in to the ACOI User Dashboard using your existing ACOI Online Learning Center account. If you do not remember your password, please click Forgot your Password. Once logged in, scroll down to Community & Education, and click on Launch ACOI 2023 Meeting.

Q: Will I need any equipment to attend the virtual meeting (i.e. webcam)?

A: The virtual platform will work on PC, Mac, iPad and other tablets, and smartphones. You do not need a web cam or any other equipment.  

Q: Help, my video is lagging or not loading at all!

A: Please make sure you have a stable high speed internet connection and that you are not trying to access the site through a VPN. You may also email acoi@commpartners.com for tech support.   
 
Q: Can I register for just one day?

A: Only the State Sessions are available for one day purchase.  

 

CME Questions

Q: How many credits are available?  

A: ACOI 2023 has a maximum of 47.5 AOA Category 1A Credits or 47.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Up to 17 additional AOA category 1A Credits or 17 additional AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are available to on-site learners who participate in the POCUS, OMM and ACLS hands on workshops.

Up to 44.5 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program are also available. Up to 2 additional MOC points are available for onsite attendees who participate in the OMM workshop. Up to 12 additional MOC points are available for onsite attendees who complete the POCUS activities. Up to 3 additional MOC points are available for onsite attendees who participate in the ACLS Recertification course.

Q: How do I claim my CME?

A: Once you have totaled up the number of hours you attended, you can attest to your credits using our online form.  IMPORTANT:  There is a firm deadline for claiming CME or MOC: ACOI Registrants will not be able to claim CME or MOC for the 2023 Annual Convention after December 15, 2023. This deadline cannot be extended.

Q: How do I evaluate the speakers?

A: The speaker evaluations are linked on the virtual platform. You can find them in the resources section underneath the session video. If you don't have a chance to evaluate the session right away, you'll be able to access the resources section again within 24 hours after the lecture is streamed.

Q: Does ACOI report my CME?

A: ACOI will report your CME to the AOA or ACCME. For state licensure, you must send the certificates to CE Broker or your state licensing board directly.
