CME Questions
How many credits are available?
The American College of Osteopathic Internists (ACOI) designates this activity for an approximate maximum of 37.50 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
The American College of Osteopathic Internists designates this live activity for an approximate maximum of 37.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 37.50 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
How do I calculate my total CME?
A CME tracker is available for each meeting to assist you in calculating your total earned hours. You can access the CME tracker directly or from your meeting homepage by selecting the link/button located in the left-hand navigation menu, approximately halfway down the page.
Tip: Be sure to review all completed sessions within the tracker to ensure your total CME hours are accurate before finalizing.
How do I claim my CME?
Please submit your hours only once, when you are done viewing all the content you wish to view.
In order to obtain credit for a meeting, physicians must attest to your credits and download your certificate using our online CME Submission Portal.
Follow the instructions outlined below, or refer to the CME Submission Quick Guide (coming soon). Please note that the quick guide includes screenshots to provide additional clarity and support.
- Select the appropriate meeting from the drop-down menu.
- Select your learner type.
- Select your certificate type.
- Login with your name and EITHER your AOA# (drop the leading zero) or ABIM# - whichever corresponds to the type of certificate selected.
- Click "Save All" to download a copy of your certificate(s).
The form must be completed and submitted by:
Virtual attendees: January 30, 2027
In-person and virtual with extended access attendees: July 14, 2027
There is no requirement for daily sign-in. Each physician should claim only those credits actually spent in the educational activities. Once you submit your hours, you will be able to download your certificate(s) immediately.
As a member service, the ACOI will report CME credits reported at the above link to the AOA and ACCME. You are responsible for reporting credits to CE Broker.
How do I earn MOC Points?
MOC Points are available to ABIM certified physicians. To earn MOC points, the learner must complete the knowledge assessment question in the speaker evaluation for each lecture. The learner must give a substantiative answer – A “yes” or “no” answer will not fulfill the ABIM requirement to assess the learner.
How do I evaluate the speakers?
The speaker evaluations are linked on the virtual platform. You can find them in the resources section underneath the session video. If you don't have a chance to evaluate the session right away, you'll be able to access the resources section again within 24 hours after the lecture is streamed.
Does ACOI report my CME?
ACOI will report your CME to the AOA or ACCME (Dates listed below). For state licensure, you must send the certificates to CE Broker or your state licensing board directly.
