Work Relative Values Units for OMT Increase
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services announced in its Medicare Physician Fee Schedule for CY 2012 final rule that it will increase work relative value units (RVUs) for OMT code 98925 through 98929. Specifically, CMS announced the following increases: 98925 will increase from 0.45 to 0.46; 98296 will increase from 0.65 to 0.71; 98927 will increase from 0.87 to 0.96; 98928 will increase from 1.031 to 1.21; and 98929 will increase from 1.19 to 1.46.
